Onsite enrollment will take place at your neighborhood school. Bring any required documents that were not previously submitted or uploaded with your enrollment application.

Step Up to Kindergarten

The State of Kansas requires all incoming kindergarten parents to complete the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) to assess kindergarten readiness. These questionnaires will also assist staff in getting to know your student.

Once students are enrolled, a link will be available over the summer for you to complete the questionnaires at home with your student before the first day of school, OR you may attend the in-person Step Up to Kindergarten event to complete the questionnaires at your neighborhood elementary school.

USD 207 kindergarteners will operate on a half-day schedule from August 13 to August 21. The Kindergarten full-day schedule will begin on Monday, August 25.

Please visit your child’s new classroom on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, any time between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM.

Parent/Teacher Conferences: August 22, 2025

Tell us about your family! USD 207 experiences significant student turnover due to military relocations. To provide our families with a dedicated opportunity to share insights about their child's strengths and challenges, we host an initial Parent/Teacher conference during the second week of school. We look forward to collaborating with you to support our students' learning experiences!

Patton Junior High Know Your School

Please visit your child’s school on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, any time between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. All 6th-9th grade students will attend orientation during Know Your School, receiving class schedules and homeroom assignments.

Bus transportation is not provided for PJHS Know Your School.

Athletic Participation (7th-9th grade)

Athletes must have a physical examination not taken earlier than May 1, 2025, to participate in practices and games.
